BSAS Student Council Face 2 Face Seminar

As global developments in animal science and technology continue to develop at a rapid rate, BSAS and the BSAS Student Council invite you to join its special event looking at the future of agriculture.

The lunchtime seminar, ‘Agri-tech: What next for the future of farming’, will see Dave Ross of SRUC and the Agri-EPI Centre discuss the latest trends in precision tools and technology, as well as the developments which could shape the next generation of livestock production.

The free event, held in Lecture Theatre 1 at the Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies on Thursday 11 January, is open to all students and staff interested in animal science and includes a free lunch from 12:30pm followed by the seminar at 1pm.

The seminar is part of the BSAS student council’s annual calendar of events, which aim to inspire and support students as they prepare for a career in animal science and its related fields. The activities form part of BSAS’s wider commitments to drive education, innovation and sustainability in animal science and livestock production.

BSAS is proud of its permanent home on the Easter Bush Estate and looks forward to welcoming you to this forward-looking event, as well as offering you the chance to find out more about the society.
